Influenster Frosty VoxBox Review

I received the Frosty Voxbox from Influenster this past weekend and it was full of items PERFECT for the holiday season!

Here's what I received....

Rimmel London Eye Makeup Remover. I like this remover because it actually removes my mascara (which is my problem area) and doesn't take off a lash or too! It also left my skin moisturized and not dry.

Ecotools Full Volume Styler Brush. As of yet, I have not used this brush and don't know when I will simply because my hair is naturally curly and not straight and that would be a distaster to my hair to try and use it. When I straighten my hair, then I will revisit this product.

Rimmel London Scandaleyes Waterproof Eyeliner. I normally use eyeliners that you have to sharpen (don't ask me why,) but I do like this liner because it glides on smoothly and really "POPS" my eyes unlike my other one.

NYC Expert Last Lip Color (in sugar plum). I am not really a fan of this color because I like my lipstick to pop (especially in the fall/winter seasons) and this one blends in more with my skin tone. I would like to try their other bright colors.

No7 Protect & Perfect Advanced Serum. I have not tried this product yet, but it is a clinically proven serum that is supposed to reduce the appearance of fine lines for younger looking skin in two weeks.... I'm not sure if I will be trying this product yet, simply because I do not have fine lines or wrinkles that I need to tighten.

Celestial Seasonings Green Tea. I already enjoy drinking Celestial green tea so I was happy to add another one to my collection. Green Tea calms and soothes me which is something I need during this hectic holiday season.

McCormick All Natural Thyme. I haven't used this product yet, but I love adding thyme to my soups and meats to add a minty and aromatic flavor. I plan on making over roasted chicken this weekend, so this will go perfect on it!

Fruit Vines Cherry Bites. I'm eating these as we speak! They are very delicious which I didn't expect, because most fruit candy chews I've tried were either to sweet or not sweet enough. What I like about it is that it's also low in fat and has no preservatives, so I don't feel bad about eating the whole bag in one sitting.

Have you tried any of these products? If so, what are your thoughts?

Dove Advanced Care Deodorant

I recently received my Dove Vox Box from Influenster (I am starting to LOVE going to the mailbox these days lol) and I was very excited to test out their new product! I have been a Dove fan for awhile now. I've used their other deodorants, body washes and soaps and to me, I really love the brand especially their dedication to empower women.

Did you know that 36% of what you remove while shaving is SKIN??? Well I didn't either until I learned more about this new product (thankfully I have stopped shaving) but for all of you that still do, this product will help you care for your armpits.

What I love about this product....

  • The Smell. It is a very natural scent that is not overbearing and fruity.
  • It's Moisturizing. This deodorant does not leave my skin dry or flaky which is very important to me.
  • 48 hr protection. In my line of work (I own a fitness and nutrition company) it is very easy for me to smell (LOL) so I love the fact that this deodorant protects me against wetness and odor.

I will definitely be purchasing this product in the future and I believe it is one of the best deodorants from them that I've tried in a long time.

Are you a Dove fan? What products from the brand have you tried?

Make-up Review: Rimmel London Lip Lacquer and NYC HD Trio

Last month, I received the Influenster VoxBox (check it out here) to review and I wanted to show you what the Rimmel London Lip Lacquer and NYC HD Color Trio looked like.

Rimmel London "Show Off" Lip Lacquer in Luna

NYC "HD Color" Trio in Long Beach Sands

To be honest, I am not please with the look because it looks like I don't have any make up on and by the end of the day it REALLY looked that way. The NYC eye shadow did not hold up even with using a primer and for the Rimmel London Laquer, I could not use it as a stand alone because the color was "too pink" for me.

I will keep these products in my make up bag because I can most likely mix them with my other products to create a really great look. These are definitely not stand alone products for my complexion minus what I originally said in the Vox Box review.

Have you tried any of these products? What is your favorite?
